The nicest place to stay when travelling to Saint Martin. The place was clean with a welcoming and courteous staff. Particularly good location at a moderate distance from a historic house. From the bus stop 5 minutes on foot. Cosy budget room, the service was welcoming. Everything really good.

    tasty breakfast
    noisy heating
    broken towel rail

Wonderful breakfast with fresh, tasty options every morning.

The heating system in my room was noisy. Despite my complaints, it went unfixed. There was also a broken control knob on the heated towel rail. I found the overall cleanliness lacking, with dusty areas that should have been addressed.

    lekker brekkie
    friendly staff
    fine views
    weak shower pressure

peaceful vibes in Saint Martin 🌊🌴

Brekkie was flippin' lekker, cooked fresh every morning. Chilled vibe with staff that were just the best, seemed like family. The bus stop right outside made it easy to explore. Plus, the views from my room were fine!

Shower pressure was a bit weak, so had to be patient there, but not a biggie.

    great food
    friendly staff
    scenic views
    weak shower pressure
    no lounge area

The food in the bistro was amazin, like seriously delicious! The vibe in the bar was super chill, and staff were really friendly, feel like home. Loved how it's not so touristy, more like a local spot. Oh, and don't miss the breakfast, cooked fresh every morning! The views from my room were scenic, totally.

the shower pressure was a bit weak, and there was no separate lounge area, kinda disappointing.

    noisy heating
    room upgrade

I was hoping for a pleasurable stay, yet encountered a horrid noisy heating system that could've woken the dead. To top it all off, I can't comprehend why my request for a simple room upgrade was totally ignored, despite my obvious classy stature. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't, alas.

Consider asking for a laundry option if you plan a longer stay. Clearly marked areas may help keep the clutter organized.

The location was perfect, with quick access to public transport and beautiful walking paths nearby. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, offering fresh and tasty vegetarian options each morning, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
